Calm Down, Dear, It’s Just a Wedding!
Are you fretting about your florist? Are you dreading dress disasters? Worried about your table plan? Well don’t worry! I have searched all over for fantastic relaxing solutions!
It is easy to start comparing your wedding to the last wedding you went to, however the strength of your marriage will not depend on how large your flower display is.
Try to focus on what you want, not what your friend had at her wedding. Don’t try to keep up with budget busting brides, stick to your own budget and have what will make h2b and yourself happy.
Cold Feet
Being nervous about your wedding is completely normal. This is the one occasion where everyone you know will be gathered together to celebrate for you, and they will all be looking at you and snapping photos.
As bride and groom, you will never have had so many photos taken of you as you will on that day!
Nerves are a normal part of getting married. If you find yourself thinking, ‘Am I doing the right thing?’ that’s perfectly normal. Don’t let these doubts get to you. You and h2b are happy and in love, you don’t need these silly thoughts.
Whenever I have cold feet, I realise that I couldn’t live without him.
Sleepless Nights
With all this excitement, sleepless nights are only natural. However, you won’t get a lot done in a day if you are feeling shattered.
The best way to go to bed is to have an unwind before you sleep.
Put down all your wedding things at least half an hour to an hour before you intend to go to bed. Unwind in front of the TV or with a book, or chat to h2b. Don’t look at any computer screens as that will stimulate your brain and keep you awake.
Dim the lights, if you have a lamp use that instead of the main room lights.
Stop doing anything to do with the wedding and start putting it out your mind as you unwind to go to bed.
If you’re having real trouble sleeping, try a warm, aromatherapy bath as this will relax your muscles and help you to prepare for bed.
A Happy Day
Remember that your wedding is all about you marrying your h2b, anything that goes wrong doesn’t really matter. The day is just about you and h2b.
